What to do in Dublin in 12 hours?!

Question?! Well, let me give you an answer. Not much, but a lot at the same time. Just have to make sure to visit when it is NOT raining :). Rarely, I guess. When we landed, of course, it had to be gloomy and grey. But Hey! take what you been given. This time I did NO planning (mainly because it was transfer to Sweden and then another transfer, but that is different story). So, the challenge and anxiety was so real. First: find the bus to the city centre. There are a lot of options, and bus stops are very well positioned outside the terminal. As I said, the options are  - express, the ones that take a little longer, more or less expensive. Our choice, Dublin Bus ( the one that is beautifully yellow ish). The price was 2.60 euros for an adult and 0.90 for a child single. On the way back, we experienced true Irish courtesy - to make sure we visit again, a kind bus driver let the kids go free. Truly, one of the kind:) First impressions about Dublin - very spacious and open. Boulevards, wide streets, lots of greenery and shopping. Our attention was caught by The Spire. Built in 2003, 121 meters high, it served us well as the point of location. Like a map, you could never get lost in Dublin, because no matter where we went, we could always find our way back. Cheers Spire!!!! Especially we enjoyed little, Irish souvenir shops. So charming and green. Clover leaf everywhere, very proud nation. Obviously, next we had to find the eatery. Again, plenty of choice, but I would recommend Ilac shopping centre . Great variety, our pick noodles and curry (3 picks for 9 euros), more than enough. Basically, there are lots to see in Dublin, but to be honest 12 hours are more than enough. Our picks : Ha Penny Bridge, National History museum, Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin Castle. The prices are not the cheapest, but worth it. Overall, a lovely place to visit. People are welcoming and helpful, nature is beautiful and city definitely will catch your eye. If only somebody could fix the weather, but maybe I am moaning too much. Thanks Dublin. Go raibh maith agat ;)
